yeah man im your guy first take the main bolt out of the frame and swingarm the take the two bolts out of the lower shock. then of course you need to take the chain and rear wheel off also. if you want i can tell you how to polish your swingarm yourself. i did it to my f3 and it looks just like chrome. send me some pics of your bike

How do you polish steel? I was under the impression our swingarms were steel, but I must be mistaken. If you polished it, it's aluminum...?

a buddy of mine learned this really fast on his katana.. polished the swingarm and frame, and the first time it rained, everything turned rust.

hell yeah, I have polished most of the aluminum on my F3 and it looks good. But I know better than to do the steel, thats why I was wondering if he clear coated it. I have heard of doing it, but it sounds kinda trashy so I have avoided it. Just gotta wait till I stumble upon some extra cash and time to get it chromed! But there are more important mods to do before that!

guys the swingarm has a silver metalic paint on it first you have to use a palm sander and get the paint off then work your way throughyour sand paper starting from course 80 grit then 100, 400,600,1000,1500 and finally wet sand with 1000,1500 and 2000 grit. it comes out tight im going to usea clear coat on it too. if you have aol instant messenger my screen name is kmetz33 talk to me. ohh yeah 907 hondaf3 thanks for showing me how to relocate my plate i did it then i put the turn signals in the tail light it looks clean and badass.
