I don't kno what all you can do but I sall a single sided Vfr on craigslist look at the post for fairings the most recent one and I put the I.d number on there
with my VFR upgrade, i went from a 160 to 180 tire. my offset is a bit off because the f3 frame is not really big enough to perfectly center the tire... im off by something like 15mm... you cant notice it while on the road.
hi all i have a 98 with a 180 on a stock rim its close but it fits with no rubbing but its all in how you ride it was on the bike when i got it but i was told by a bike builder that at serious lean angles that it might be an issue
^That's a bad idea if you actually ride your bike. You're deforming the tire putting it on a rim that's too small.
I've seen lots of Hawk/VFR single sided swingarm conversions and have never heard of an offset problem. 15mm would be enough to cause problems I would think.
may be a dead thread...but i did a 600rr swap... having some nice fitment issues at the moment with the passenger rearset and the D&D midpipe... turning my bike into a "frankenfighter" is more work than i could've ever imagined
