Default Starter Bike!!

Hey, there seems to be alot of friendly honest people here... I am getting a bike, and looking to spend from 2000-3000$ and looking for a 600.Would a CBR somewhere around a 95 be the best bike for the price? Or would another brand have a better one for the price and year area? (I know this is a cbr forum, just asking). Please, any help is appreicated!

Personally I think that CBRs are very good starter bikes...especially f2s and f3s....they very user friendly handling..and not too much power to where if you hiccup your going to loop.....but enough to have fun. I started on a F2 and I did just fine....you may want to even get a f2 in the 1500 range and use it for a season or two then upgrade to something bigger if you feel its not enough

I started on an F2 and then bought an F4 as well. Love the CBR600F series.

The CBR's are a great bike, & being honest you could not do better, but in reality its up to you to find your ride. There are some many variables to wot would suite you. So throw your leg over as many bikes as you can, take your time & do your homework on pricing. Nothing beats the thrill of your 1st bike. Good luck
