I'm not a stunter, but I went one down and two up on my F3. First gear runs out pretty quick, but the bike is much more fun to ride on the street now and power wise it feels more like some of the newer 600's that I've ridden. I bought my conversion kit from EBay.

yeah, I bought mine of ebay too. I went -1/+5 and it's a lot of fun!! So much power and still runs good on the highway! Just have to be careful taking off!

I've never purchased anything from the link you provided , so I can't comment on that.

I don't see the actual kit listed anymore, but I went with the 520 conversion Vortex and chain from SUM-OF-ALL-PARTS. It has been a while but I remember that my chain was slightly too long when it came in and I had to carefully grind off a link with my hand grinder. I have heard horror stories from people who use a chain with a clip, but I've used them and have had no problems. You do have to be mindful of how you put the clip on and make sure you don't distrub it when you clean the chain. I've been ridding the bike since January and I've had no problems.

You may also want to try Bryce.

With 1 down and 2 up, the bike runs out at an indicated 156/157, I haven't done the calcs yes, but I think it is probably more like an actual of +-133.

The skins are off of the bike right now and I have a speedohealer in hand that I'm planning to install tomorrow morning. (Getting ready to go a wedding this afternoon so the bike will have to wait.) I'm afraid I don't remember the answer to your second question.
