I'm looking to buy a 95 CBR 600 and the owner said that it only have 3,500 miles. When I looked at the gauge I see 35,000 miles.

So my question is did the F3 generation come with the tenth place on the mileage gauge? I know the F2 on down does have the tenth place that is clearly mark with the white background. On the F3 its all black so I guess Honda removed the tenth place for this generation. Anyone can confirmed this?

This is the speedometer on a 1997 CBR 600F3. The bike has 41,932 miles on it, or it did at the time the photo was taken last year. Tenth's are only indicated on the Trip meter.

 

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think F3 had tenth either, but the seller insist that it does. So the bike I'm looking at has 35,000 then. 3,500 is quite low for its year and condition.

 

i'd steer clear of this guy. he is obviously either A. an idiot or B. a scammer trying to sell you a POS. either way I'd stay clear of him. keep looking buddy
