Just got my CBR and I had some questions:

-my tach stopped working for a few minutes today. I'm thinking the cable isn't properly connected. Has this happened to you?

-At 80mph on sixth gear I'm at 6.4K, is that stock?

-throttle has some play. Anyone know what section in the manual is the procedure to tighten it?

No, never had the problem with the tach, but its electrical, no cable, but if it happens again, check the connections (see your manual). 6.4 RPM sounds on the money, you should find the throttle cable adjustment guide under "Routine Maintenance" or "Fuel &...." depending of which manual you use.

 

I'm running about 6.4K at 80. I'd say your safe there.
