Single sided swing arm
Im not to sure if this has been posted but...... Has any one ever try to put a single sided swing arm on there F3? My uncle said it is possible if it is from a certain honda. I am not sure wich one he said it was but its possable he said. Is this true? If it is can you guys tell me wich arm to get and how hard it would be to execute? Is it worth it for looks and performance?

RE: Single sided swing arm
Anything is possible. From a custom parts standpoint, I think you just need to make some custom bearing spacers and change the rear shock mount.
The parts will be hard to find....and not cheap. VFR and Hawk swingarm assemblies with wheel bring $500+ and are sporadic on eBay or in other classifieds. VFR's aremoreplentiful than Hawks, and I think the wheel is a better match for the F3 wheel (even then there were a couple different wheels - I think 5 and 8 spoke?).
There is no performance advantage in it in my opinion....you loose therear shock linkage which works pretty well.
I think its heavier. I had a spare swign arm for my race Hawk and that swing arm was HEAVY even without the caliper and sprocket. The wheel was no lightweight even though the hub and rotor were on the swing arm.
Sorry to sound discouraging...I don't mean to be...its a great looking mod.
