Default Shim lost in engine while being installed

I lost a shim when I was installing it, It was over where the shim itself goes, so I'm wondering how far it could have fallen, and if it went into the oil pan, or is stuck in the head.

Ended up getting it out using the air blow method, it hasn't dropped into a hole, I blew some air in and it magically ended up nowhere near where it would logically be from when I dropped it. Had to get coaching from my local honda shop on that one over the phone, suffice it to say I bought them all breakfast this morning, but 15 bucks for breakfast beats the oil pan gasket and head gasket I would have needed to replace for my way of finding it.
