Default shifting and rev limiter?

if you are doing some spirited riding where do you normally shift at? I have shifted at 11.5 here and there and from a few different people I have heard thats too high? I know the tach goes to 13.5ish, so I assumed I was okay. Another question I had was do our f3s have a rev limiter?

indeed. That is what im discovering too, and I was just trying to get the overall thoughts from everyone. I probably wont shift it that high anymore and just keep it around 10k, because Its gots 39k on it, and I don't feel like building a motor right at the moment.

If I'm pushing I'll shift at MOST around 500 under redline, I NEVER go into the red though

of course not, thats asking for trouble. I assumed that the bike would handle taking it to 12k, but I wanted to see what the general consensus was on running it that high. I have had a few people tell me they never go over 10k. My bike doesnt seem to pull really hard untill i hit 10-11.5k.
