Hey guys, the other day i was out riding and my shifter suddenly wouldnt go up another gear. It would go down one but not more than that. I got home and messed around with it and it will go through all gears (hard to describe) but it doesnt go back to the middle so you can shift up and down so i have to lightly lift up on it after each shift to get it in the middle position in order to switch gears. Could anyone help me with this is it something i can fix myself or is it a big problem? Thanks

 

will it go up if you shift without the clutch ?

 

yes it still goes through all gears it just feels loose and you have to put it back to the middle

 

anyone have an idea of what it is and how it can be fixed?
