Exclamation Seeking help from the CBR Gods...

Alright some I'm new here and no I don't have a CBR F3 but I do own a Honda that has a set of F3 wheels on it so I'm looking for some guidance from the CBR Gods...

So I've got a 2002 XR650R that I just bought and the guy who owned it before me did the supermoto conversion on it. I've ridden the bike for about 2 weeks now and I'm ready to start making the bike my own. First things first. The wheels are from a 1998 CBR F3. There are no clearance issues and no mounting issues to speak of (spacers have been machined to accept the wheels so it's factory lookalike.) The only thing is the wheels are beat to hell and back and are in dire need of some attention. I've gotten in touch with a local guy who is going to do the powdercoating this week but I don't have any idea what all I'm going to need to replace after I break the wheels down....

Does anyone know what the part numbers are for all of the internals for the 98 wheels?

I've been to the local stealership and they've been ZERO help....

Can anyone help me?

If need be send me a PM and we'll discuss it versus hashing it out in the forum and wasting everyone elses time.

That's why they're called a Stealership. You need items 13 and 14 from this page. 2 of each.

http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/...up/FRONT_WHEEL

You can get #14 from Ron Ayers, but I'd go to a local bearing supply to get #13. It's a common size, 6004UU. 6004 is the size and the UU indicates rubber seals on the sides. You can find them all over ebay easily enough. The bearings will cost you a few $ each, but from a dealer, $20 each.

Does this apply for both front AND rear? I mean are they the same seals/bearings?

I figure if I'm going to go get them then I might as well get both front (left/right) and rear (left/right) at the same time so I can have them once the wheels come back frompowder coating...

Thoughts?

The wheels take different bearings.

Front takes 6004 and 2 dust seals.

The rear takes 6204 bearings and 1 dust seal.

Okay so I've gotten the bike apart and the miscellaneous parts sent to the powder coater....
I sould be making some headway later this week. New suspension, new controls, fresh powder coat here and there, new headlight, etc.

I'll try to see if I can figure out how to post pictures when I'm done.

Here's what I've got so far...

Why in the hell are my pictures so small?
I've seen others posting pictures that are HUGE and mine are like "mini" pictures... What gives?
