Rookie help..Trying to replace my Throttle cable

Smile Rookie help..Trying to replace my Throttle cable

My throttle cable broke(the pull) and I was trying to replace it.My mechanic charges 60$ a hour.I trying to save the money since I heard it was an easy job.I Just some pictures or a video to help me out. As long as I dont have to remove the carbs I'm game for it.Any help or link would be helpful thanks.(1997 cbr f3)

Hmm, I can't see getting that done without pulling the carbs. I was just there yesterday.

You can do it, but you'll need to take the cables off the throttle so you have the extra slack to work with. If you take the right Clip-on off the forks, then you can slide the Clip-On out of the throttle. The switch assembly has to be taken off the Clip-on as well. Once you do that, you can tilt the throttle out of the lower half of the switch assembly to slip the cables off the throttle handle.

So how do you do the carb end w/o removing them?
