Regulator Rectifier
hey guys,
anothe problem... I just bought a gsxr regulator Rectigifier off ebay... i was told to get the gsxr R/R's because they are better than the CBR's
So i got a 01-03 gsxr 600's 5 pin r/r. I wired it up The 3 black wires to the 3 yellow wires. Black/red to red white and black white to green. everything lights up but i press start and i get nothing but clicking. it cranked a little but all clicking. So i tried to jump it with my car battery (car is off of course) lights come in bright as ever as if the battery was fully charged (it should be since its only a week old) but all i still get is clicking... any help is greatly appreciated. the bike started up perfectly fine before i started to wire up the r/r

Recharge your bike battery. Check the voltage and make sure that it's at leat 12.5V. Make sure all you connection are tight on the battery. If this is all good, make sure everything is connected to the relay correctly and tight. If this all checks out and you're not getting anything to turn over, check your relay. If the relay passes, test the positive cable for continuity from the relay to the positive terminal on the motor. If this is good, test your start motor by connecting it directly to a battery. I recomend that you do this out of the bike. Let us know what the results are even if it appears you found nothing bad.
