RE: redline?
Kustom is correct! So is Kwong!
Just a side note...
I topped it out a while back, speedo read about 160 (hard to tell at that speed and pay attention to the road). Anyway, I was on an empty stretch of interstate and came across a bridge. I knew the bridge had a dip in it that I feel in my work truck pretty good. Didn't think about it until I was about a 100 yards or so from it. I said screw it and kept WOT.
I got some air time and when the bike came down - no head shake. Nothing, just kept cruising. Also, I replaced my front tire myself and haven't had it balanced. I had taken it easy on speed for the first couple of weeks, slowly going faster and faster. No problems. Very surprising.
The F3 is one of the greatest bikes ever made. It was/is affordable. It's extremely reliable. It is very fast and it is very comfortable. It takes every other bike in my city (with the exception of my boy on his Erion 929 - he's got about 7 years racing experience), and we're talking liter bikes. No one can touch me. These aren't newb riders, either. Most of it is attributed, I think, to the fact that I spend more time really getting to know my bike and it's limits, learning about holding lines and generally just as much information as I can about road racing.
There is no other bike like the F3. Thank you Honda!
