Is there a rectifier upgrade out there. Mine just went out. Seems like every 3 years or so it goes. Also I need a new plug that goes into it. Does anyone know where to get a new one.

Check you stator. It may be burning up your r/r.

 

ok. i just bought a new rectifier off of ebay for 86 bucks. it an aftermarket one but it was 100 bucks cheaper than the honda shop. and its not made in china either. Made in Taiwan which makes good electronics also. I also found the plug on ebay too. The honda shop doesn't sell it for some reason. It was like 20 bucks or so. They had two of them. one in china the other in cali. with the one in cali, (the one i bought) I'll have to solder the wires into the pins. Not hard and already have the equipment. The one from china comes ready to go. But the down side to that is it would take a month to get it.
