OK so I've had the bike for about 7k miles, 6 months, I've now burned through 3 rectifiers. Whats the deal?

1. Check the AC current from your stator (three yellow wires) is within spec using a multimeter. Could be thats your problem and its blowing up your rectifier. Maybe just replace the stator anyhow.

2. Clean the plugs going into your rectifier and use some dialectric grease for corrosion protection. This stops resistance building up in the wires and again blowing up your rectifier.

good luck
