Default Rear shock advice please

Hi my rear shock is leaking and so I want to replace it, However i've been to Honda and they want over £500 for one or there is a used one on ebay for £20 but wonder if this is likely to be any better that mine. Any advice on where I could get a reliable one for considerably less than £500 would be gratly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Umm Ebay is a good bet. Just gotta watch out for people listing that the part will fit your bike when they have no clue of what they're talking about... But you might want to take a quick look through the classifieds on this site. Usually a few good things in there I'll look for some in there in a little bit for ya.

No problem. Just glad to help! I'm thinking that the shocks are the same for the F3's.. Not toooo sure though. Might ask Honda or someone on here.. But here are a few good buys. You can probably spend 20min or less in the classifieds on here and find what you need.
