Rear Set Question
Who is using aftermarket or other model rear sets and why? I am looking to change mine from stock. I use this bike for commuting and occasional track day use. So adjustability would be nice. Plus I keep dragging the pegs on the back roads that I ride often. So I just need to figure out something. Any input is appreciated.
You would need aftermarket rearsets for racing/track use.
I have mine moved 1" up and 1" back (aftermarket but had to make mounting brackets myself).
Scraping pegs might be down to not positioning corectly on the bike i.e. if you dont hang off the bike enough you increase the lean angle in corners.
Going by your avatar you almost straight on the bike while cornering.
On the track you'd want to hang off a fair bit on order to keep the bike as upright as possible for better grip and ground clearance (and lots of other factors).
