just like the $20 extra in plastic they had to use to make those ginormeous rear fenders on the rr's? since the fenders on the last 20 years of hondas didnt have to be like that..

I ran it without the hugger for a while last summer. Yea, gunk & grime was a hassle. I put it back on. The main reason was the 2 tabs on the left side (for chain guard & hugger) sure don't add to the beauty of the swingarm. The swingarm is not that attractive in my opinion...Maybe a different type hugger like Baxter1 is getting, post a pic if you can....

meh thats a cosmetic issue and an opinion issue..its obvious the rear fender helps keep stuff off the shock and other crap

Default 3. Dumb Question

So, what is a hugger anyhow? That is not a common term I am familiar with on my other bikes. Some sport bike part???

im not sure if im right since im new to the bikes myself but from what i understand the hugger is the fender that sits right over your rear tire. its called hugger because it sits so close to your tire.

if thats not correct someone please correct me, because if thats not it, i would love to know what is the correct part.
