Ive been told quite a few things about what might be wrong with my bike, figured i'd ask all of you. Went to take my bike out for a ride, cruised around town for awhile with no problems. As soon as i take it out on the highway though, i get going about 60 mph and the thing will stutter and die, and refuse to start. Once i get it home, i can put a charge on the battery, start it right up, and cruise town all day, but as soon as i get it above 50 and hold it there, the same problems start occuring. Battery has been tested, it is good. R/R gets really ****ing hot, but continues running after being unplugged.
Any help would be appreciated

I would say the regulator. My sons bike would have to be charged every other day. last week it started up in the morning, but died on him right away. It wouldnt do anything at all. A couple of hours on the trickle charger & it fired right up. It wasnt charging. Replaced the regulator & fixed it.
