so i have a 98 cbr 600 f3... from what ive read its the cali model because it has all of these emission hoses... well i was wondering if there is anyway to bypass this and get rid of these hoses.... The electrical thing thats to the right in the picture seems to keep gettin some nasty fluids comming out of it and i think it ultimately keeps cloggin my carbs... is there any way to take all of these hoses off and if so what do i plug on the carb and what hoses can i keep on and plug? Any help is always appreciated guys... thanks !

I just checked my F3 manual and the only thing different for those hoses on the cali model is just the EVAP purge control valve and 2 or 3 hoses. I know when I pulled my carbs off all those same hoses were in there. I recognize your fuel pump/filter and hoses, and some off the airbox ones but that's it. Do you have a service manual?

i do have a service manual. The EVAP purge control valve is the thing im talking about, it seems to keep getting some nasty fluid building up in it.... I was just thinking that maybe there was way to bypass all of that and remove the purge control valve since the only model that has it is the cali model. Kinda thinking that build up can't be good lol..

I know with cars some of those vacuum lines are necessary for different things, example the brake master cylinder uses the engines vacuum. But on our bikes I don't know what uses the engines vacuum for anything in particular. In theory as long as you plug up what you remove so there aren't any leaks, you should be good to go. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
