Default Plastics

Im looking to get some new plastics for my 98 F3, right now I have race plastics, that the previous owner cut up to put in headlights/taillights to make it street legal. My plan is to get some new plastics where the lights dont look like **** and arent bondoed in, but i dont know what year will fit it. Im looking for ANY plastics, aftermarket or stock, whatever is cheapest. My plan is to get these plastics patch them up and then take it to a Linex dealer and have everything coated. I figured that would be pretty unique and kickass. So what years will fit on the 98 basically is what im asking.

Ebay is filled with the stock fairing kits for the 97-98.

I worked with the ones from the sellers hong kong before, and they are aesthetically wonderful but do take some work to align and such. they are also fairly sensitive compared to stock, but will be okay if taken care of

they look good, but they have thin clear coats, so they chip easily, and are thin plastic, and cheap so they melt under the sun and from the engine. They align up alright but not as good as stock, you need to drill some of the holes out...etc...

if your going to get them painted anyways, build up a collection of OEM fairings, sand them and prime them

Just my .02 cause i have dealt with the eBay fairings before for my f3
