I feel ya---if you were here I'd send you to a shop that you'd be so happy with you'd cry---it's always scary hearing guys doing stuff like this, yeah I know not my bike not my prob but if it was me I'd hate to do something like that and have something go wrong.I'm sure you got skills with tools like none other and nothing will go wrong; just being the nervous Dad if you will.

Hearing this makes me laugh a little. When I was documenting my adjustments on another forum,I believe someone said something to the effect of "seeing those pics gives me **** shivers".....Haaaahahahahaha to "**** shivers".

Time and math are on my side. The pictures might be nice, but not sure how they'd look here on the Honda forum. Maybe you could PM me with a link to a photo bucket site or somthing.
I'm not set up on Photobucket or anything like that. I usually load pics directly from the PC.
They're for educational purposes....what could possibly be the issue?
MODERATORS: You folks mind if I post some pics of a Yamaha top end? Anyone? Bueller?

Cam timing on 2003 Yamaha FZ1.
See howthe hole isspot on to the line? One tooth in either direction and the timing is off.
