Thank you. It's far from perfect, but it is ten times better than when I bought it.

I received the fairings and rear seat yesterday, so I'll work on them today and tomorrow (my car project got postponed for a week).

I ordered a lot of what I need last night. I picked up:

- integrated tail light
- new tires
- integrated turn signals/mirrors

I still need to find a good headlight, but that should be it. I'm going to try to work around needing a new fairing stay, but I may end up buying one of those too after today. We'll see. I'll take some pictures if I make any progress.

Here's the initial mock up. I'm going to fabricate the remaining brackets, pull it apart, prep it for paint, and paint it. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm glad it's starting to look like a bike again.

I made some good progress today. I finally cut out my filler panel and gave it a trial fit. I'm very happy with it. I'm now working on the prep for paint (hopefully next weekend).

I also prepped and painted the front fairings. Once I get the remaining pieces, I'll put everything back together.

Love the way the tail looks. Might have to try it out on my F3! Nice work!

Did you make your own passenger seat latch or were you able to find some taken off a 600rr?

I haven't tackled the rear seat yet. I still need to fabricate the braces for it and figure out the latch.

I received the integrated tail light and I hope to install it tomorrow so I can begin buttoning things up.

Nothing too new to report. I installed the integrated tail light and it looks very good. The previous owner had some sort of jimmy-rigged contraption on the previous tail light to make it integrated. There were wire splicers everywhere. He even had some wires simply twisted together. It was great. So, I pulled all of that crap off and soldered the new light in the right way.

I also started prepping the undertail. I might be able to get some progress pictures tonight.

I only had about an hour to work on the bike, but I made a little progress. I started reinstalling the fairings and finished prepping the undertail. I hope I can finish the install this weekend. I received the mirrors today too. I'll add that to the list of things to do.
