Overheating?
So, i just did the f4i/600rr mod. Also did the f4i gauge mod with the 900rr temp sensor. It has been fine so far (has only been about two weeks of riding). Just the other day i was on the highway and the traffic was at a dead stop. my temp gauge read 220 where my fans usually kick on. I didnt think anything of it, i look back down after a minute and my temp is 240+finally traffic starts moving and it starts cooling down. On the way home it starts doing the same thing except this time i look down and notice my fans arent on....and the temp is at 230+. So i start it up at my house today, let it run, and it gets to 220 and the fans kick on, but only for about 30 seconds...if that. it takes it down to only maybe a degree cooler the fans shut off, the temp rises but this time they dont turn back on. So sorry for the long story but ive heard of a fan bypass switch or something so i can just turn them on when i want, or is there a serious problem...thermostat perhaps? thanks, please help i want to get out and ride.

First off, did you bleed the system after doing the temp sensor... I know you don't really need to ... no coolant even comes out..... check the relay for the fan and make sure it's okay..... you can even jump the relay and see if it kicks on ... if it does.... go backwards from there and make sure al;l the wiring is okay ... if it is .. Im stumped over the computer...
