Default Oil Cap Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm alittle new to all this so please forgive if this has been answered already.
I just bought a F3 Smokin Joes Edition but i'm not sure how i check the oil level in the bike.
I've been searching for a sight glass but cant find any such thing. I think the factory dipstick has been replaced by an aftermarket crome bolt thing that doesn't have a measuring stick on it.
Can anyone help?

Thanks a bunch
nick

The Honda F3 has a dip stick attached to the stock oil cap. Like you said yours is aftermarket. You will need to get a honda oil cap with the dip stick.

It is a cheep aftermark cap. The person bought it b/c of chrome. When you buy that cap you need to keep the stock one.

You can get one online from someplace like CrotchRocket.com or others. Just look in the micrfiche on Right Crankcase Cover page. It's around $7.

My f3 takes exactly 1 gallon or 4 quarts...i assume its the same among all of us, but if you change the oil and just put a gallon in atleast you'll know its got what its supposed to have in it for a little while[:@]
