I hope I don't get eaten up for this question. I'm gonna replace the o-rings on the oil cooler of my '96 f3, on the manual it says to apply oil. My question is what type of oil do I need to apply? Is it motor oil or what kind?
Ok, but you did understand me right, I need to apply oil to the o-ring before I put it in, So I use the same oil as I put in my bike? Just want to be correct. Thanks for the help
Yeah man. The regular ol' oil. best way I have found is just use your finger. Dip it in the oil and then rub it around. Just like how you would when you do it to an oil filter on a car. And no worries... No stupid questions. Don't wanna mess something up.
