Hey Bulli,

I'm in the same situation. My bike is now rebuilt after taking a good hit to the front end, but I haven't decided if I want to convert to F4i or get stock gauges again. In the meantime, I'd like to fire up the bike. Anyone out there have some insight?

Stupid question but what clocks do you speak of? Bc my f3 does not have a clock that I know of.

Hi streetfighter88, its not that it wont start is that it doesnt run properly after 2nd gear it bogs down & dies.

Chetsnut - Ground the solid pink wire going to your gauges & you should be running as normal worked for me.

Thanks guys,

Yeah, I've been reading up a bit and the cause seems to be from the air control valve solenoid not switching over at 12mph like it should. Nice write-up here:

(third post down shows that his speedo is broken, causing this problem)

It's probably your ram air solenoid not opening. I have read somewhere that there is a pink wire you have to ground I believe?? Try a search, I think I've read something here on the topic before...

edit: Chestnut beat me to it.
