Would this or Could this do any damage to your engine? I Had mine off and started my bike to see what it would sound like(loud and ragedy). I was just wondering if running an engine without a can would damage to engine?

 

would work fine as long as the carbs or FI was adjusted properly. i've seen a 929 where they took off the can, grinded off the mount, and chromed the exhaust. made it look like a small megaphone. it said that the power commander was dyno tuned for the massive flow. i couldn't imagine it sounding good though.

 

I took the pipe off my old F3 and started it a few times. After a couple weeks the plugs fouled. I guess it just ran way too rich, and there was no back pressure either. I don't know if it will hurt it or not, that's just my experience.
