Default New Rear Brake Pads-Seem to be dragging?

I just put on a set of rear brake pads, EBC organic pads, and now it seems to be dragging. When I removed the old pads, each one had a metal backing plate and a spacer made of what seemed to be fiberglass.
I put them on the new pads when I replaced them, and now the rear brake seems to be dragging slightly.I can't ride it yet as I'm waiting on other parts to finish it up.
Has anybody used these, or similar pads and if so did you use the plates and shims from the old pads? Any help would be great as I'm close to finished putting everything back together. Thanks

Dragging how much? With the wheel in the air and you press the pedal and release, how many revolutions can you spin the wheel? It is normal to have a small amount of drag but you should be able to get 2-3 revolutions with a nice spin. 4-5 if the chain is off.

If it's dragging so you don't get any free wheeling when you spin it then you should check to make sure the axle is properly aligned in the swingarm. If not could cause binding.

Guess I'll have to get a stand to check it out. Still curious about the shims, I was a mechanic for 6 years and every time I've changed brake pads, there was some space in between them and the rotors until the brake pedal was pumped up. These were just a little snug with everything in there and the piston all the way in.
