Default New exhaust - funny angle!

Hi all, fit a 'Carbon Can Co' exhaust last night that come off another F3, I managed to fit it ok but it just seems to sit on an angle when you look from the back.

Cant seem to get it to be parallel with the bike, is this just how they are?

How did it look on the other F3 before you took it off ? The final position and angle of the muffler is going to depend on the intermediate pipe between the header and muffler. Short of trying to rotate the intermediate pipe a little, I don't know that there is much you're going to be able to do about it. I'm not familiar with that particular brand of muffler. Maybe a quick call to the manufacturers tech support.

does the mid pipe have the centre stand stop plate welded to it? if not mybe you can twist the mid pipe about a bit to get a better angle for the end can.
but you will need a centre stand stop though, unless you plan on taking the centre stand off.

The US version of the F3's don't come with a center stand. It was available from Honda Parts as an option. Very few F3's in the US have the center stand. Here in the US, only the factory mid pipe had the center stand stop bracket welded to it. Aftermarket exhausts don't even have that on them.

the reason i mentioned the stop plate on the link pipe is that my gianelli can and link pipe were made for the f3 UK spec, hence it has a centre stand stop plate on the link pipe.if there isnt a stop plate on his maybe a little jiggery pockery with the link pipe may get a better outcome if he is concerned about it
