Default Angle Parking

Here's one I can get head around,
They say you should park with the back wheel against the gutter, but if you park forward, a car can see you before turning in.

Which do you guys do?

Default RE: Angle Parking

Up the Gold Coast Highway, there a few shops I go to, it has 45-degree angle parking
It's a two lane road each direction and parking is a little hard to find, cars usually come flying into the parks as to get off the main road.
If you find a park, it's usually between two cars, and the bike can't be seen from the road if you were a car looking for a park.
So I can ether park forwards a bit so cars can see me early or back against the gutter so a car turning in has room to stop, maybe.
