Default Tail swaps

Hi, you can probably tell I'm new to the forums.. But, I've been lurking for a while. After talking to a few people I've noticed that I'm a little younger than most 1kf owners (19) but, hopefully I'll fit in here. First off, I love my hurri and wouldn't dream of changing bikes, at least for a while.. But, I would like to update the looks of it a bit. I've seen a few people changing out the tails on theirs and was wondering how much is involved with that. I have access to a welding machine and am "fairly capable". If anyone here has done it, what would be the easiest swap and what would I have to change?

Welcome to the forum,
At 19, I had a CB200 and later a CB750. The 750 was similar in size and weight, but not power.

Which tail are you referring too? Rear forks or tail-fairings?

Tail-fairings of the SC24 can easily be switched (91-93 and 93-00), this would switch the round look to a sharper look.[IMG][/IMG]

Your profile nor intro doesn't mention the type of 1000F you have.
