neutral safety switch
okay, so after a week of tinkering, finally got my f3 to fire up on its own power, and runs pretty well. I dohave a problem though. The neutral safety switch in the shifter is out of wack. when the bike is running, the neutral light is flickering and causing the ignition to cut out. A couple times, the bike died because of it. is there a way, for a lay person, with not much bike mechanical knowledge to adjust the neutral switch? Or would it be a better idea to have a shop do it?
just bypass the switch
on the left side of the motor theres a little green wire that goes into the block where the tranny is...it goes back in that little hole kinda righ above where the shift linkages goes.....cut that wire....and ground it to the kickstand bolt..that will shut it off..then you can start the bike in any gear....thats what i did..i got tired of that nuetral ****
