Need torque specs

Default Need torque specs

Hey guys im new to the forum. I have a 98 f3 i recently found oil in the coolant. Im in the process of replacing the head gasket and i am needing the torque specs for the cam covers and the head bolts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Stephy G's CBR Page and download the F3 manual. It has all the torque specs you need (as well as a lot more information).

How did you determine it was the head gasket??

I think if water pump gasket/seal is bad, then you will find oil in your coolant. Correct me if I'm wrong

The oil cooler o-rings can fail and introduce coolant into the oil.

Got the bike put back together last night ended up taking the carbs back off and cleaning them. So far its running fine so i'll see what its going to do when i start riding it again.
