I bought my bike used (1996 CBR600F3) and the taillight is mounted to someone's welded bracket made of angle iron.

I want to return to stock configuration - but what is stock configuration. I have the repair manual but the pictures are bad.

My taillight is mounted to what looks like a factory bracket. Does this bracket bolt to the frame, if so, where ?

Also that box thats under the seat, my bike does not have it. Do I need it ?
