Default Nasty Rattle In Neutral

Clutch engaged in neutral - No Noise, sounds normal
Let off the clutch in neutral and theres a nasty rattle , just replaced springs, plates and steel discs, basket looked alright, a little scored up, same with the pressure plate

is the clutch outer permanately attached to the flywheel? or is that seperate part?

Is it when you are LETTING it out, or when its released completly? I replaced the clutch in my Trans Am and thats what it does in neutral with the clutch released.

could be partly worn parts, partly the oil you use. I'm running amsoil MCV-20w50, rattles damn near went completely away, i'm a dealer and can hook you up with some if you want.

Yeah it is common its the clutch baskets apparently, my mint 97 with 13000 miles used to make that noise, it was not loud but was noticeable

im running Amsoil 10w40 right now, I wasnt sure if it was a common thing or not, its not really noticeable unless your listening for it and then it drives you crazy, I usually just keep the clutch lever in
