Hey, nice colors. Are you planning on putting the upper cowl on, or leaving it naked ? That looks like a pretty wide tire on the rear, is it a 180 ?

Thanks! I do plan on putting everything back on the front as it should be. But i gotta get guages, the stay, and all the plastic for the front. Im just trying to get the, funds up. I do belive its a 180 rear,it was on there when i got the bike and the tires r fairly new!

The upper cowl fairing Stay is a critical piece. It determines how well the upper cowl and lower cowling fit together. If it's bent just a bit it can throw everything out of alignment. If you can swing a new one for about $140 it's the route I'd go. Otherwise make sure the bike you get the used one from hasn't had front end damage. If the small tabs that hold the headlight in place are bent, it's a good indication that the bike has had a front end impact.

Yes it is possible to bend one back into alignment but it can be tough. I had the advantage of having 2 F3's side by side so I could take measurements from one and apply it to the other. Even that way took a while to get it right.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanx for the info dirt! I am eyeballna couple stays on ebay! I got the stay with the bike but its screwed! The guy i got it from had a lil encounter with a stop sign,so the stay and plastics and guages caught hell from the impact! But otherwise all the rest of the bike is structually and mechanically sound. I had a good friend who works at a shop look at it b4 i did the trade just to make sure there was nothing tweaked to the point to where it would screw me when putting it back together and whatnot

could always buy racing fairings put in a single or double HID projector and make some custom mounts then wire in an F4I guage or KOSO guage
