The wife wants me to sell it and put the money towards a cruiser. That's not happening.
She knows my addiction to adrenaline so she thinks that a non-sport bike will keep me out of trouble. HA!
I'd rather just keep the CBR and add a v-twin to the stable for days she wants to go 2-up. She refuses to get on my 600.

I'm riding her in real easy. I contacted the local dealer. They weren't all that helpful. Reading the Honda Service Manual and the CBRF has been more help than anything.

That's pretty much what I thought. I have about a 15 minute commute to work on city streets so that's pretty much where I've been keeping her. Also, my area is extremely hilly and twisty. I've been puttin' around on those streets to get the feel of her. I have been out on the interstate once. I was at 85mph before I noticed . I was just enjoying the feeling and then when I realized how fast I was going I backed off. He hasn't seen 9k yet.

I've ridden every kind of bike since I was a small boy but haven't ridden a sport bike in a while so I'm using the break-in period to get reacquainted with the feeling of being more in the prone position, rather than upright.

I figured she's waited 16 years to be wide open, she can wait a while longer. But when we are both ready...

What a great find! I got my 97 F3 with 10k and I thought that was low. I plan on taking good care of it and riding it for the next 10 years (unless that perfect F4i comes up for sale).

Ditto ! - you've got a Gem there bud and at a wicked price - I got mine for $2100 CDN
Found F3 last summer the same way. Lady in Quebec bought an original Smokin Joe edition. Rode it for a tiny bit and then it sat in her garage for 12 years totally neglected.

Now I'm giving it a new lease on life
