Default My '96 F3 I just got

I just got this from the 3rd owner with 38,000 miles. It has been laid over in a driveway with minor plastic scratches. So far i have put about 100 miles on it.

So far i have put on new black grips, bar ends, waxed and polished the aluminum.

I have been doing some research on the bike and so far this is my list of to do's:

-New front michilen pilot tire (they are both fairly new f&r but front is wearing weird, already checked tire psi
-oil change
-manual tensioner
-some point F4i gauges
-lower it
-hid headlight
-air cleaner
-new windscreen
-brakes and rear sprocket for insurance

Is there anything else i should know about these bikes or must do mods?

Nice bike. From the looks of the background, you like fast stuff! Nice cars!

Also, aftermarket or 04-05 gsxr regulator/rectifier will be useful mod.

Ok, I'll look into it. Also, was thinking about a 170/60-17? I am going to do any hardcore cornering.

Very nice looking bike. Mileage isn't a big deal if you take care of 'em. I'm refurbishing one with that color scheme now, but mine won't look quite that good I'm afraid. It's got 43+ on it, but been ridden hard and put away wet.

Thanks Jeff! I do plan on either repainting these plastics or buying cheepo chinese ones, and keeping them original ones.

That'd be a shame to paint over it. It's a classic.

Yeah thats why i thought about buying the cheap plastics off of ebay. I am just not fond on the purple, although everybody really likes the look of the bike that i have showed it to.

Man, there was a great set of matching leathers that went cheap on ebay the other week. Vanson, my size, near new, and an extra jacket. The only problem was that they were that 90's color scheme like Colin Edwards used to wear, purple, yellow and pink :O Only $150, but I just couldn't do it.

Cheers

Very nice bike. If anything for appearance i'd paint the wheels. The fairings are pretty immaculate from the pics. And turn signals on the tail are cool too. All good.
