Go figure...

my Cam Chaint Tensioner was making a HORRIBLE sound 85% of the time when i bought the bike in Feb. it continued to do so until last wednesday when i ordered the APE CCT. then, it was quiet as brand new...

anyway, i replaced it last night. its much easier that i thought it would be, even with reading the great write up on here. she runs great now!

 

I doubt if it would have stayed quiet. Just a temporary anomaly I'd bet.

 

oh, i fully agree. it just makes me mad. im going to pull the old one apart and see if i can tinker with it at all... should be fun.
