Yeah I would stay away from a 1000 for a good few years, 600's are forgiving, if you give a 1000 too much gas in a corner it will bite your **** where as a 600 is a little more forgiving. In complete honesty a 600 F3is too much of a bike for a beginner, that bike is more than enough bike unless you are a racer 99% of people won't be capable of riding that bike to its full potential. But if you really want a new bike go for a new 600 they do perform pretty much as a 1000 will do up to the early 100's mph but are less wheelie happy and probably more fun.
People are just telling you the truth 1000's are way too much bike fora novice, have you even tried one?

i say...your probably not going to listen to anything we have to say anyways..so get your 1000, wreck it, become a squid for a few months, then go back to riding your comfy, fast-enough-as-hell F3.

1000 is too big unless you ride on those open straight 100 Mile roads in the midwest through the desert or gomountain climbing.

 

Actually, yeah +1 or whatever to the those who said pick up some mods, I think that's what I'll do, even though she's old she still looks like a modern day sportsbike, infact I like the bulkiness look of them, makes em look pretty mean, and with some new mods, like an exhaust, change out the lights and some new paint she'll look even better. Thanks, and what else should I do, anythingthat willgive me just a few more horses?

 

you should do a custom F4 headlight mod...that would make it look a tad MORE modern...
