Manual Chain Tensioner

Manual Chain Tensioner
I purchased a manual chain tensioner to put in my 95 F3, I was going to install it but I thought a couple of months ago that I read some directions on here about how to do it. In the directions I think it said something about a removing a oil valve or oil tube. I am not sure if anybody knows how to do do this or has pics how to do please let me know.

RE: Manual Chain Tensioner
its really easy, I did 2 this summer, on mine and my buddies.
Remove right side fairing. Find stocker on motor, remove...fighting the clutch cable a little. Install manual tensioner, thats all the way backed out (very little bolt going into motor). Dont forget to use a little RTV Silicone on both sides of the gasket. Once in, screw bolt in until you feel a bit of resistance (when it hit the tensioner). Start bike, DO NOT REV. If it rattles like crazy then thread the tensioner in till it stops, then give it a 1/4 turn and tighten the lock nut. If there is no rattle, back it out till it does rattle, then back in till it stops, then add that 1/4 turn. Make sure tight tighten the lock but.
Thats it, took me 10-15 minutes start to finish on my F3 and my buddies F2.
