Main jet affecting pilot circuit?

Thankfully here in U.K, I never have this issue. Bet it's a pain in the rs ! Hope you get it sorted mate.
The pilot screws on F3 carburetors are on the intake manifold side of the carburetor. They adjust fuel flow not air flow and as such, turning the screws in will make it leaner and out will make it richer.

Just saying...
