Default Lowering

Got a 95 f3 that I'm going to either put a dogbone on or a protek adjustable dog bone on to lower the rear .5-1inch. I know it throws stuff off and I'm going to do it no matter what. My question is to keep is geometrically correct how much would I raise the forks to compensate for the rear? I've read the same amount. Same amount plus 1/8. And idk what to believe. Thanks in advance

I'm not a fan of lowering. That being said, the goal is to keep the steering head angle the same relative to the ground. Raising the fork tubes in the clamps is not going to be a direct 1:1. You need a way to measure the steering head angle precisely, and then after it's been lowered in the rear, adjust the height of the forks until you get that angle again. You'll probably have to shorten your side stand too after.

Yeah lowering is always debate amongst people. I'll never go lower than an inch but with already shaving the seat it still needs to be a little lower. Was going to get the adjustable one so if I don't have to go the whole inch I won't. And okay sweet. I think I have a rough idea of how I can do that. I appreciate all your help on my posts!
