Lowering Question
I think that you can just loosen the clamps on the triple tree that holds the forks in. Slide the forks up in the tree until you have your desired height, and tighten them back down. This will probably hurt your handling, btw.
do a search there is a topic on here where i explained that i think that it was 1 1/4" in the front for every inch in the rear and yes you slide the forks through the triple trees.

The main reason, who I kidding, the only reason why I am lowering it is because I am veritcally challenged (short 5'7").

what do u wanna be 6'11?
try gettin your seat cut down and recovered. lowerin the bike will only mess up the handling. tho pullin the forks up 10 mm in the yokes will improve turn in speed. im 5' 7" and have no probs with the the bike even tho mine has a 1" longer rear ohlins shock which jacks up the rear.
