Angry Lights@#$%

Okay so the bike when i got it didnt have any rear signals on it and i purchased some off the internet fro bikers planet. went to wire them up and after blowing numerous fuses finally got it working smoothly.... or so I thought. Everything worked great. all blinkers worked together. so fron and back blinkers were in sync. I have a couple of questions since I am new to riding crotch rockets. does the blinkers on the dash always stay lit ? until you use a signal and then it blinks? The other question is as soon as i start riding or shortly after I start riding The same god D$%! fuse blows and all my guages go out and my blinkers go out. what is going on? I dont think I have any bare wire and my ground is good. I need help does anyone have anything similar happening? HELP it gets annoying when you start riding and your going around 75 or so and all guages go dead because of a fuse. and then you have no blinkers.

Hey this happened to me... last week I put on new aftermarket front signals... they work fine for the first few hours, then suddenly blew out the fuse when i hit the signal button and was doing 80 on the highway too....

Idk how to fix it....., so I just dont use the signal anymore, or i just use my hands if i really have to

So its nice to know that someone had the same problem. I dont know if its the aftermarket blinkers or what but its pissing me off since I didnt want stock blinkers hence me buying aftermarket. I thought it was a wire problem but not sure since i cut back the wire I thought it might be and everything was cool till i got on the road and it blew the fuse again. I have been through atleast 16 fuses. they blew so easily and why I dont know.

dude trust me im pretty sure its the signals..... every single time you hit the signal button your bike just stops, gauges go to zero... nothing right???
yea.

Sorry brah idk how to fix it, but all i can tell you is since I figured out that it was the fuse blowing, i havent hit the button once and have not had a problem .....
o and i have the carbon three wire ones amber bulb dual filament, etc same description, with the running light, thats the only reason why i kept them on because of the running lights
