Let me reintroduce myself
Hi guys, I haven't been on the club in like two years, last time I posted I got my bike painted, HORRIBLE JOB by the painter.
I have a 1996 CBR F3, converted tail, custom painted (redoing now), HID low beam, F4i rear shocks, intergrated rear turnsignal. Had to rewire my bike, made a mistake of jumping my bike with the car running, just about shorted every component on the bike. Thanks to eBay I got it running again.
Wife has a 1996 CBR F3, stock, lowered and that it for hers.
The mods planned before riding season in PA, is custom paint both bikes,
My bike, install single sided swing arm (SSSA) from a 1992 VFR750, NEED INSTRUCTIONS, try to do a under tail exhaust or high mount exhaust. Thats about it for my.
The misses mods will be is just a custom paint job, she is sticking with stock.
I am 39 years old, been riding for 6 years, been down three time, broke my wrist, former bikes, 1st 1988 Ninja EX250 (parted out), 2nd 1989 CBR600 Hurricane (totalled), 3rd 1989 Ninja ZX750 (crashed, rebuild and sold), and now 1996 CBR600F3. As you can see I like older bike, because they are heavy, I travel all highway to and from work at 140 mile a day. Live in Easton, PA and work in Jersey City, NJ.
I have good knowledge about fixes and remedies, so I will post when and where I can.

Bout an hour out from me. If the weather ever warms up enough so I won't lose fingers gonna be pulling the wire harness, swap to F4i gauges, swapping the swingarm and going for paint job #2 (lowsided at the end of last season 1 day after repainting).
Couple little minor stuff too (clean, sync & idle drop carbs). Nice to know someone's in the neighborhood

WOW right after you got it painted, that some BS, I know you was PISSED. So far THANK GOD, I been good on this one.
I don't ride with a club, just back and forth to work and when the wife decide to get onto the saddle we ride to no where. Go out and eat and thats it for us.
This year, I am going to get it professional tuned and sync. I been doing it for the pass year and it seems like I am not doing it right. The guy at the shop is will so show me how and going forward I know the correct way to do it.
When every you need a spot to work on your bike drop me a PM, I have a garage with all the tools you might need.
No club here either. Know a guy in a club here in Philly and from what he's told me, it'd be a bad idea. I'm more safety conscious than they are and there'd be friction.
The stealerships want too much money to even look at my bike ($250 just to diagnose a problem with the carbs) so I'm banging my knuckles in the tight spaces myself. If there was a dyno I'd consider that. But I'll risk the rest myself. Might take her in once for a suspension setup tho.
I'm eager to hear any painting tips you got and see any pics of the results. 1st time round was mostly to get used to the guns. Yeah it sucked to scratch everything up the next day but it gives me an excuse to fix all my newb paint mistakes.
