i went to superbrightleds.com and ordered (i think) the T4 locking led, it is a direct twist replacment for the stock gauge bulbs. They look they same as the pic you have shown, its nice dont get me wrong! Im very happy I did, and for the cash it is amazing!!

However, I think I got my hopes up too high while waiiting for them in the mail and thought it was going to do a lot more then it did, not disapointed by any means, just not a big change either.

WORD OF ADVICE!!!!! I did the LED swap, its ok, looks nice. However, I changed my hi-beam to purple, and my neutral to a really nice bluey green. I loved it. Took it for a safety AND IT FAILED!!

He said hi-beam MUST BE BLUE and NEUTRAL MUST BE GREEN. I told him no way am I gonna pay him to rip into it cause I put them like that and he said take it home and fix it. WTF WHAT A DICK WALLET!!!

Long story short, do it AFTER you get a safety. (or ask your guy first if he will over look such a small little thing)

politely insist that they wear 3D glasses whilst doing it im guessing 'a safety' is an MOT of sorts in the states ?

I will be replacing all my fairings next week and this seems like it may be more convenient to do now then later. How hard is it to access the guage lights?

for those who ordered from superbrightleds.com - what did you order?
