Hey guys, I have a 1997 F3 with just over 6,200 miles on it. I bought it last september with 2,500 and I'm trying to remember if it has been doing this since then, but I can't seem too. The issue is, i've recently noticed what appears to be oil dripping from different parts of the engine behind the right bottom farring. At first I only noticed it coming from the dip-stick cap. I would see a few fadded drips going down the side after each ride. I'm including pictures so I don't have to spend all day describing what I'm seeing. haha. If anyone can tell me if this is a serious issue, a normal thing, or something that can be easily fixed, that'd be great! Thanks for any info

 

The first picture looks like its only dripping from the oil fill cap. Check the cap for cracks and make sure it has an o-ring on it. The other picture looks like it is leaking from the clutch cover. A new gasket is all you need. Thats what it looks like.

 

Yea thats nothing major at all just take off the cover (drain the oil first) clean the serface make sure nothing gets in the engine then put on the new gasket you can order it online http://www.ronayers.com/browseparts....=51400-MAL-601 there or go to your local bike shop then refil oil of course and good as new lol

 

I bet there's no o-ring on that dipstick.. not normal at all..
